Program Description:
You won’t find many study abroad programs like this one. It’s designed to expose students to the rich complexity of modern Korea, consider one of Asia’s four dragons. Based at Dongguk University in downtown Seoul, this program will take students on a tour of Korea, including meeting media executives, politicians, artists, cultural figures, North Korean refugees and everyday people. Students will learn how to report, produce and publish sophisticated multimedia presentations using the latest in media technologies and techniques.

Check out the stories produced by the students who traveled with the School of Journalism to Korea in the summer of 2016!

This trip is part of the Journalism School’s “Classroom Without Walls” program. That program has taken students on reportorial adventures across the world, including trips to India, Cuba, China, Russia, Turkey, and Ecuador.
