THIS MESSAGE IS FOR NOMINATED/ACCEPTED APPLICANTS:

As the State of New York and SUNY Leadership have informed us of this Spring term reopening for study abroad, there are a few details to share as you prepare for your program. 

MESSAGE ABOUT SUNY CLEARANCE AND PROGRAM OPERATIONS:
We advise students to follow the post decision instructions in order to meet partner university admissions deadlines.

- Secure a campus schedule and housing as a backup plan: We ask that you formulate a back-up plan for on-campus coursework next semester just in case your program is cancelled or you choose to withdraw. We will advise as to when you can switch your enrollment to your study abroad placeholder course with the certainty of your program running.

- Financial Commitment: Students should NOT make any financial commitments such as paying the $200 Administrative Fee, purchasing flight tickets, housing deposits etc. until officially directed to do so by the program coordinator. 

- Committing to the Program: Your nomination is conditional, as there is a forthcoming SUNY COVID-19 Acknowledgement Form which will require your signature in order to participate. If you do not sign the SUNY COVID-19 Acknowledgement Form by December 15, 2021, you will be administratively withdrawn from the program.

- Vaccination Verification: All program admissions are conditional until it has been verified that you have been fully vaccinated for COVID-19 at a point that allows for maximum protection before departure. IAP will be in touch with the necessary steps for verification.

- Program Operations/Communication: As we receive updates and communication from SUNY, the Governor's Office and/or our Partner Universities, we will be in touch with details.
