SBU's new faculty-led program in Greece offers full immersion in language and culture. Students start with online classes for one week and then travel to Greece to continue the program. While living in the center of historic Athens, every step outside the classroom is a step on a historic site. Students will learn about and visit many famous landmarks including the Acropolis, the Panathenaic Stadium, Lycabettus Hill and a number of museums.  There will be field trips to Delphi and Meteora which are designated UNESCO World Heritage sites.

The program includes three days on the island of Aegina. Students will explore the rich history of the island which includes the ruins of two ancient temples and will also experience summer life on a Greek island.
