Program Description:
SBU offers students the opportunity to study for three weeks in Rome, the eternal city, known for its classical architecture such as the Coliseum and The Forum. This study abroad program, established over 30 years ago, enables participants to gain first-hand knowledge of contemporary Italy while fulfilling Diversified Education Curriculum (DEC), upper-division, or major/minor requirements!

The curriculum offers students an understanding of Italian history, politics, and culture. In conjunction with classes, visits will be made to the city’s artistic and historical landmarks such as St. Peter’s Cathedral and Piazza di Spagna, as well as an excursion to the Renaissance city of Florence.
