Program Description:
Students enroll in full-time English classes to improve their academic English skills.  Core morning classes include instruction in all English skills: Reading, Writing, Listening, Speaking.  Afternoon Classes include:  Grammar & Vocabulary, Communication Skills, TOEFL Preparation, American Life, Money & Business, Media & Society, Debate/Conversation, and Current Events

This program is recommended for students with conditional admission to SBU or with plans to apply to SBU in the future.  Conditional students need to complete the advanced level (IEC 104) with a B or better to be cleared for admission to SBU without having to submit a new TOEFL or IELTS score.
